Anchor Splash is Delta Gamma’s annual charity fundraiser and one of the most exciting fall events on campus. It is a day where men from many of the different fraternities here on campus come and compete in water activities such as relays, "save a DG” and the famous synchronized swimming routines. The overall winner is announced at the end of a day of skits, fun and swimming.

Delta Gamma’s national philanthropy is Service for Sight and one way we raise money for our philanthropy is through our successful event, Anchor splash.  Service for Sight works to raise awareness about blindness and eye safety, while giving aid to thousands of blind children, adults, and their families.

Rutgers Dance Marathon is an event where the sisters of Delta Gamma pledge to stand on their feet for 32 hours straight to raise proceeds for the Embrace the Kids Foundation. The Embrace the Kids Foundation is an organization that supports families of children with cancer and blood disorders. Because the foundation is local, we are able to meet the families and the children, and we invite them to our event each year! Watching the kids dance and smile makes all of the work we do in preparation for this event all worthwhile in the end. We thank all of the many people who have helped us reach our goals!

The 2011 Rutgers Dance Marathon was held on the weekend of April 2nd- April 3rd. The final amount raised for the kids was $380,351.10! Delta Gamma received honors such as 1st Place Individual Fundraiser, thanks to our beautiful sister, Vicky Muschinske! We also received the 1st Place Spirit Awardand 1st Place Top Fundraiser Overall! We are extremely proud to say that this is our twelfth consecutive year of being the Top Fundraiser for Rutgers Dance Marathon!
